Yeah, I have some 50m cables. They will make whatever you want at Cable
Express. IBM only has 2 lengths. Their cables are extremely expensive,
though they are good cables. IBM only sells 50u cables, so be careful
mixing in a run. It will cause you

You can also buy longer cables - just not from IBM. We have in the past
provided our customers with longer cables when required.

Actually, if you get the barrel device you can connect two FC cables to
make
them longer. Note that you do not want to make more than 2 connections

The longest shortwave cable allowed is 500 meters, for 50um multimode fiber
(ESS FC 3022). You just need to get longer cables than the 31m cables
