files, I cant take snapshots because those files are the images storage of
the Content Manager(its all tiffs),
I manage to run the Journal Based Backup on AIX, but only on 32Bit machine

Journal backup only works on windows.
There is generally no need on unix systems as they are fairly efficient.
What is the problem you are trying to solve? There may be some tuning
you can do.
