An EXPORT is a COPY operation, not a delete.
You can export all the data to tape, then use the CLIENT to delete just the
archive versions you want to delete.

You have hit one of my "pet peeves", the lack of controls for export and
the lack of ability to delete specific export tapes without having to
delete everything from one date, forwards.
AFAIK, there isn't any granularity to the controls in these areas.
Someone please correct me with some hidden,
