Nothing specific to Linux or Redhat.
General things:
If your TSM server is *NIX, you can increase your TCPWINdowsize to 262144 on
the server and use a TCPBUFfersize of 131072.
Older Windows will have problems with anything over 63.
Enabling jumbo frames also helps with CPU load from network trans
