We use Control/M exclusively to schedule our TSM backups in our production environments. I'm not a Contol/M expert, but it seems to work well in our environment. The only problem I have had is that I don't get a view of the Control/M jobs in the TSM activity log. I don't see job statistics for the

backups are scheduled via TSM's scheduler on low end client (workstations) but on servers (oracle, ...) backups have to be planned within the whole production, thus, the backup jobs are scheduled as any other batch jobs throught our office-wide scheduler, dollar-universe i think that any scheduler

Hi, for most of the backups we use the TSM scheduler. For some others, we use Tivoli Workload Scheduler (former Maestro, Unisson). No problem with it. Db2 backups are scheduled with AIX crons, TWS might be used there too. Regards, René LAMBELET NESTEC SA
