Terry,
I'm not sure what the answer is, our network folks have found the same
problems. My only recourse has been to use a gigabit card for the primary
NIC where most traffic and nodes are. We've also had to make sure computers
on other networks are connected to a nic on the ADSM server with an I
On Linux you can specifiy routes through certain cards. For instance if I have 3
cards with IPs of 10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2, and 10.0.0.3 and I want traffic to
10.0.0.11 to go originate from 10.0.0.3 I add a route like such:
route add 10.0.0.11 gw 10.0.0.3

Terry,
you can try to set explicit routes (route add ...) for every client. But i think
it would be better
to use different networks on every nic and giving the clients TCP alias
addresses .

Terry,
I believe that there is a client option that can control this for you the
option is TCPCLIENTADDRESS. You can only use this option if you are running
in PROMPTED mode.
Hope this helps.
