i have 2 sta-s working with different TSM servers and libraries, one
in /opt/tivoli/tsm/StorageAgent dir and another one in
/opt/tivoli/tsm/StorageAgent2 directory
simple as that
no DSM% variables are used in these two STA configurations

DSMSERV_LOG variables ?
As for running mutliple TSM server instances ?

Yes,
You would do it the same way as multiple TSM servers on the same
hardware.
