Well... "storage groups" is a term specific to Exchange 2000 or later; Exchange 5.5 has only the directory store (DS) and information store (IS). The backups (and restores) on 5.5 are restricted to either/both of those two components... for good reasons -- performance and integrity. In Exchange 2

I don't think the TDP for Exchange supports backing up individual mailboxes. Other backup applications, ArcServe2000 for instance, do this. However, it takes considerable time since it has to log into the mailbox and backup individual messages. I've never done it, but I hear it's flaky at best. If
