Under Netware 6.0 and 6.5 a new TSA can be used - TSAFS.NLM - available from
the Novell web site.
TSAFS.NLM has open file support for GroupWise built in to it - Activated and

you tried updating to the newest version of St. Bernard? Also, there's a
setting in the agent for how big of an initlal cache you want ofm to use.
Sometimes that has to be made bigger, if OFM has trouble growing the
I am running St. Bernard's ofm, which in the past I have always
recommended. But alas, I am now in the deep as I am having a
problem. The thing that bothers me though, is that I am running the new

Hi Mario
You do not need a Third-party product anymore... at least not if you are using
the TSAFS.NLM!
If you check the documentation for TSAFS.NLM/or the /help you will find, that
there exists a startup switch; /EnableGW=yes - with this switch you will get
the same functionality as with GWTSA

If you're feeling adventurous, you could also look into file level, or pool

We've been using St. Bernard OFM 9 in conjuction with TSM 5.2.2 (client
vers. of course) to backup both our GroupWise 6, and now GroupWise 6.5 servers
in the last year without problems. We've also done successful restores of the
GroupWise servers.

This is theory only, since I haven't done it. but you should also be able
to use the plain b/a client in combination with turning on "filecopyonwrite" on
the nss volume.
This should prevent fuzzy backups, but since the snapshots get taken when the
files are accessed, if the user stays lo
