SAP's version of Oracle isn't quite standard Oracle. The files in this
directory have various extensions, mainly *.svd and *.001, but it's an
idea. I can try these specifically.

Why would you prefer exclude.dir '?:\oracle\...\saparch'
I think you may be assuming something that I've missed, and I need to
learn.
- Are the apostrophes significant?
- Why do you leave off the trailing backslash and asterisk?
- Is a ? better than a * as wildcard here (I know one's a sin

I have an NT server running SAP/Oracle. I am backing up the Oracle DB with
TDP for R3, and thus want to exclude these files from TSM incremental. I
cannot get it to work.
NT server v 4.0 with SP6
TSM client v 4.2.1.30
TSM server v4.2.2.7
