we are taking adsm-db full backup daily, and it is not the cause of the
problem.
Incremental backup is implemented 5 days a week, but it forces full
db-backup
when the changes go above a certain numbe

Vijay,
Sounds like you have some other problem with the transactions not
getting written to the database quick enough.
Can you tell us mor
When I had this problem, several times, stopping and restarting the server
freed the pinned transaction log record. The problem I had (on a older
level) was that the log file did not reduce after a database backup. Other
things to consider is reducing your activity log retention value and to tur
ot;backup db" before. I do it at a
fixed time every day from cron).
Could you please post back to the mailing list when you feel cetain
that you know what corrected you problem.

Vijay - Also look into your server LOGPoolsize as it governs the
rate of database commits.

The short answer is to get another TSM server. TSM is incredably
flexable, but it does have its limits. I would strongly consider spliting
the load across two or more servers.
