notice that each offering has a number next to it. If you type in that
number, it will select or unselect the offering.

Thanks, David - we ran into this as well here, and this reply was a big
help.
Looking back the installation instructions for the TSM client for Linux
v5.5 and v6.1 show that TIVsm-API.i386.rpm is required for 64-bit systems,
so this seems like an error that has crept into the latest documentation.

have you installed libaio?
last time I bothered to look at tsm 6, the installer didn't bother to check for
dependancies, but would fail in horrible ways if you were missing something.
libaio and one other lib is a prereq for db2

box, where there was a duplex mismatch between that system and the
