We had some similar problems while integrating a SAN with StorageNet
(Brocade) switches and the Stornet 3200.
Problems disapeared after a firmware upgrade of the switch and the bridges.

Our configuration is:
Dell Server with Qlogic 2200F HBA, Win2K SP2, TSM 4.2.1.9
Ancor SANBox 16 FC switch
STK 3250 FC-SCSI Bridge
Sun StorEdge L60 DLT8000 Library (4 drives)
The switch is zoned so that only the TSM server and the bridge are

They are the same speed.
I use client compression (and hardware).
13-15 Megs per second going from SCSI to SCSI, fiber to fiber, SCSI to
fiber. Testes using move data commands.
LTO tape drives are about the same.

IBM says the 3590E a much more faster with the FC adapter. So we want to
put one FC Card into our SP and test it.
Then the TSM server s
