I just got through a 2 week period of testing and tuning for performance. Here is what I ended up with. The Network is also going to limit your performance. Try sending files via FTP to test your network. You will also need to tune the server side; BUfPoolsize, SELFTUNETXNsize & SELFTUNEBUF

Hi Guys, I am attempting to run a tsm client on windows NT but, to coin a phrase, the backups are "running like a dog". Could anyone provide me with an example dsm.opt for windows so that I can compare settings and hopefully improve the xfer rate?. Kind Regards, Roy Lake RS/6000 & TSM Systems
