what you can do with adsm to put your data offsite is to create a copy storagepool for your primary storagepool. then you copy your backup data each day to synchronise the primary with the copypool and at the end of the week you checkout all copypool tapes and take them to your bank. through space

The incremental Backup doesn't mind if there was a selective or not, he just backs up the changed data. You don't need to use a selective Backup, you can use archive also. you just have to look, if the seetings in the archive copy group that is used by the client fits your needs. with kind rega
