Afternoon people,
Attempted to run a daily incremental backup of a windows server
with TSM client. However the backup failed with references ANS1228E and
ANS1931E. Can anyone offer any info as to the probable causes of this. Any
help would be gratefully appreciated
I am using client Version 5 Release 1, Level 1.5
i have been getting failed in the log for some time now without figuring out
what the problem is realy?
The client seems to be backing almost everything up.
This is the only errors that i can see in the dsmsched.log
ANS1228E Sending of object
the TSMerror.log on the Client.

Hi all,
when i try to backup a Linux Client with TSM-Scheduler, i get the
following Error-Messages in the TSMerror.log on the Client.
ANS1228E Sending of object '/db2/home/t4107.old/mdb/DDG_aUsWERTUNG.mdb'
failed
ANS1304W Active object not found
When i start the Backup from the Clien
they no longer
exist on the client, that will cause
these ans1228e messages to be generated..
