Hi TSM'ers I have built a test server and when I try and start dsmserv it fails with the following error: ANR0259E Unable to read complete restart/checkpoint information from any database or recovery log volume. I have re-checked the dsmserv.opt file and all seems to be ok...any ideas? Thanks, R

Del, I looked at the DOMDSM.LOG but there was no information in it that would explain why a backup was queuing. The tsm server was operating with no reported errors so I was looking for some type of output that would explain why it happened... What do you mean by redirected command output? Do you

I am testing restoring TSM server but it crashes when it tries to read from the DB tapes, the error message on the server is something like "unable to allocate raw volume" Has anyone ever come across this? Can you tell me what the correct procedure is to restore TSM server. Thanks.
