When I attempted to use the command line within TSM, I got the following
error:
\tsm> q backup {"\\0633\C$"}\*.* -fromdate=01/27/2003
ANS1081E Invalid search file specification '{\\0633\C$' entered
I was trying to get a listing of all my files for a particular node using
the filespace which is l
been reclaimed? It sounds like your "Delay period
for volume reuse" is set too high.

TSM = 5.11
OS= Win2K
I have many tapes in my tapepool which show status as pending. I am trying
to upd the status to readwrite so I can use the tapes now. I realize that
the pending will automatically change to readwrite at a certain time
period. Can I move to readwrite now? I have already tri
kick off the backup it prompts for a Netware
user id and pw? So does anyone know how we can insert the Netware user id
and pw to prevent this from taking place?
Thanks in advance. Ron Lochhead

01/06/2003 Subject: Error while moving data
I have got an error while attempting to move nodedata to my diskfile. I
have been trying to condense my tapepool files to one tape per node.
During the process for one of the tapes I got this error: "pvrfil64.c(1048)
thread Id<64> error writing file volume e:\tsm\02 ef.bfs". I ran audit
on ta
s. I figured out how
to move nodedata to our diskpool but now how do I put nodedata from
diskpool back on to one tapepool tape?
The error I got said that I couldn't move nodedata from diskpool back to
tapepool because of sequential access storage. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ro
expect it to take?

ccess=unavailable" which an operator could type one command and get
results of which vols need to be updated. Then that output file would be
the input for the "upd vol [volname] access=readwrite".
If anyone has written that or knows where I can go to find out that info, I
