Hello,
Some of my clients get this message:
16.10.2000 16:30:21 TcpOpen(): Warning. The TCP window size defined to ADSM is
not supported by your
system.
It will be to set default size - 131070
What does it mean and what can I do about it? Changing the value of
TCPWINDOWSIZE in DSM.SYS has n

LIBRARY_NAME: 3575LIB
VOLUME_NAME: A00215

LAST_USE: DbBackup
HOME_ELEMENT: 273
CLEANINGS_LEFT: 0

If I read the manual correctly, the following statement should do the job:
dsmc archive -subdir=yes -description="Archive 9/05/2000 for 7 years"
-archmc=ret7yr "d:\project\*" "e:\oracle1\*" "f:\project data\*"
So: quotes around every filespec, separated by blanks.

"Gill,
DEFINE DBVOL creates a file, formats its and assigns it to be a DB-volume, but
DEFINE DBCOPY just tries to assign an existing formatted file to de group of
mirrorvolumes.
DELETE DBVOL deletes the file from the DB-volumes, but outside ADSM the file
still exists.
So my trick is: define an extra dbvo
