In an attempt to free up tape drives when migration occurs due to primary
disk pool filled, I am looking for a script to check if reclamation is
running and cancel the process automatically. Does anyone have any ideas
(or a script) how to accomplish this easily.

Thanks again
On current situation is total capacity of 746 volumes including 1 CE tape and 6
cleaning carts in 3 frames. Currently I cannot keep enough scratch tapes in the
library to handle a full weekend(Fri, Sat, Sun ). Reclamation for tapepool happens 6
days a week and reclamation for copy
Thanks for the response, I would like to determine what volumes to go to overflow -
based upon oldest last use date I think) so I can make sure I have 20 scratch daily or
60 for the weekend.

not guess what to do when DISKPOOL is full. What is your
next STG, does it have enough scratch volumes ? What are you
HI / LOW migration thresholds ?
What is the latest file your NW client sent to TSM server (dsmsched.log)
How big is it ?
