Is this the last DBB, you can't delete the last one.
Has anyone seen this? I'm on server version 4.2.3.0 (W2K).
I run a 'delete volhist type=dbb tod=today-1'. The volume history is
deleted, but the tape, which is in the library, doesn't return to
scratch?
Thanks for any replies!

Wouldn't an audit volume also fix this?

RMAN is quite clunky compared
So far, I haven't had any major issues with 4.2.3.0 on Win2k. Over the
next couple weeks, I'll be putting other platforms (AIX, HP-UX) to the
same version. I'll let you know how it goes.

You can get the Archive Backup Client for VMS. Go to www.storsol.com

Shouldn't you group by "SERVERTYP"? I think you need the quotes.

actually had to remove the extra milimeter from the tape cartridge

Hello, all.
I'm looking at replacing all of my IBM 3570 tape libraries with 3583
libraries, and looking to hear from anyone who has experience with the
3583, particularly on Windows servers. Our experience with the 3570 has
been less than pleasant at times. I'd like to hear about any good or
bad
