regarding Disaster Recovery Manager I was told that this product is

what you can do with adsm to put your data offsite is to create a copy
storagepool for your primary storagepool. then you copy your backup data each
day to synchronise the primary with the copypool and at the end of the week
you checkout all copypool tapes and take them to your bank.

i would not recommend to give adsm/tsm another behaviour than normal. you
should be aware of the fact that you need not to perform full backups but
have full restore sets available for each point in time. so why ? adsm isn't
arcserve! so better try to understand adsms philosophy and technique rath
have you issued an audit vol on this tape? if not, you should do (1st:
fix=no, then fix=yes) then try again deleting it.
