We are investigating using TSM/ exchange TDP to back up our Exchange servers. I would

and if there are any items that I need to be aware of. We will be doing a test run
soon.
We currently use TSM are our prim

Have a great day.
I just got through a 2 week period of testing and tuning for performance. Here is
what I ended up with. The Network is also going to limit your performance. Try
sending files via FTP to test your network. You will also need to tune the server
side; BUfPoolsize, SELFTUNETXNsize & SELFTUNEBUF
Why don't you do a command line call from the tsm scheduler and only have the one file
to back up from the command line. I use this and it works fine.
Here is "hrarchive.cmd" located on the server. I call this using TSM command

Subject: RISC SERVER SPECIFICATIONS
I have been given a couple of days to come up with specifications for a RISC

We have received the following error on 3 of our backups. Has anyone experienced
these errors? If so is this a network problem? Server 4.1.0 MVS, Clients 4.2.0 NT4.0.
Additionally, we were restoring 80 GB of data on another server - this was the only
thing different; this server was on same n
I need to know if anyone is backing up Novell's GroupWise and if so what are the
parameters in backing it up. Such as does it have to be shut down to get a proper
backup.
Additionally, has anyone restored Active Directory? Detail here will be appreciated?

The Active Directory Database is backed up by default during an incremental
backup on the latest clients.
