You could try the SHOW command to query the whole tape pool
SHOW DAMAGED yourtapepoolname
just remember the show commands are not supported

Hi Louw
It's not actually a Netware disk that moves between Netware clustered
servers, it's a Netware Partition which can contain multiple disks. Just to
confuse you, the TSM manual that describes how to set up Netware Cluster
aware backups talks about a "cluster group" when they really mean a Net
being dismounted to be returned to its library slot then remounted
again. As you are running migration alongside backups I can see how this
can happen on a frequent basis.

mean you are leaving the old ones behind? Could you end up with two TSM
servers with the same name and IP address on your Network? That would be a
challenge.

d not support
Netware Clustering and failover, and the snapcopy / dedicated Netware
server was the only way we could get this to work. The setup has worked
reasonably well, we do get the occasional snapcopy failure. Now TSM 5.2
does support Netware clustering, we are reviewing the whole process.
Zoltan,
I've moved TSM database components using DFDSS copy
successfully. Only restriction is that you need TSM down of course, but as
you say, its a lot faster, and easier than using the 'delete dbvolume'
command
