on sourceforge is a TSM related tool called "tsmtape":

It's purpose is to access files on a tape filled/written by TSM
without using TSM (or the TSM database):

Hi Mike,
do you know, whether the EMC VNXe supports SMB2? If yes, it is switched
on? Activating SMB2 on a Samba-based-server GREAT
ve a reference, link, pdf, ... for this?
