a new backup. So far the backup has proceeded much longer, and
successfully sent much more data than in previous attempts. It is still
running without issue. Will update the list as soon as I know for sure

. TDP for Oracle uses the 'BACKUP'
copy group which in your case should point to the disk pool. TDP does
not use the 'ARCHIVE' copy group. I have been bitten by this one in the
past.

You could do a command line restore and specify -dirsonly and restore
just the directory structure over the top. Then push down the
permissions on the files.

I had this same problem it turned out to be McAfee Groupshield keeping TDP
from connecting to Domino.
We are using Groupshield 5.2 and we had to add DOMDSMC and DOMDSM to the
application exclusion list in the server settings database for Groupshield

We are running an R5 environment on Win2K using TDP for Domino 1.1.2 and it
is working great. No downtime for backups. Just make sure to read the
manual on the policy settings, the sample scripts that come with TDP work

The easiest way we have found is to use the tapeutil utility and download
the code to the drives from the server side. You just offline the drives
one at a time and perform the upgrade. Super easy!

I have been trying out a demo of TSM Manager. It uses a collector agent to
gather info from the activity log on a periodic basis, similar to
ServerGraph but for Windows. From that data it generates all sorts of
reports. Is anyone else using this product?

DB backup tape has already expired which would be unlikely.
So you need two things for success here. An ample supply of scratch tapes
and an available tape drive.

several AIX boxes to an OS/390 mainframe. We've looked at the network and tons of

Is it possible to get Reclamation to use more than one data stream? We
