Hi,
we want to move from our OS/390 TSM server to a Solaris TSM server. What's
the best practical way to get our "old" data to the new server?

backup and then incremental backups. The
problem with this option is that we loose our backup history.
Any other idea?

Hi TSMers,
we are implementing a TSM server on Sun Solaris. How do I have to define a
(OS/390-)HSC-LS-driven powderhorn library against the TSM server? Is it
defined as an external library or as an automated library?

Hi TSMers,
little question ...
I like to make a backup via a trunked ethernet (2*FastEthernet) connection.
TSM client and TSM server are running on the same machine, the file space to
backup is a cifs share mounted over ethernet.
When I send the data via a TSM backup session I get only 25 MBit
-attached) StorageTek 9840 drive.

Hello,
is there anybody out there who has experiences with an exabyte 110L
autoloader (LTO) with an tsm server 4.1 on an WinNT (and an AIX) platform?
We are planning to get one of these autoloaders, but the 110L is not listed
in the TSm compatibility list.

Hi,
how can i code a select statement, which gives me all nodename related
events from the actlog and the last hour?
The "current-time-1" is not the right statement.
select servername,nodename,date_time from actlog where
date_time='current-time-1'
