We do backups of vmware systems (IFIncremental). Now we want to exclude
some disks/volumes (D:, E:).
We also want to delete the old backups of this volumes to get free space

we want to install sysback on systems where already installed tdp for
oracle and tsm 64-bit api.
Sysback needs the tsm 32-bit tsm api.
Should I deinstall the 64-bit tsm api and install the 32-bit tsm api
(performance of tdp for oracle ?),
or can I install both (32-bit and 64-bit tsm api).

"backup incr" at netware saved nothing, but query event says completed.
IBM says, the problem is fixed with TSM-Client 5.2.2 (IC37299).
But today there is no release date for 5.2.2 known.
Who has a simple way, to check the backups without using "query event" ?

we plan, to backup a Solaris server with different Oracle versions using TDP for
Oracle.
But the actual version of TDP for Oracle (5.2) doesn't support Oracle 8.1.6.
Does anybody succesfull backup this Oracle products on the same server ?

we try to use TDP for R3 with RMAN.
Calling brbackup we get the message:
--> Failed to load SBT library libobk.a(shr.o) <--
We did the following link to $ORACLE_HOME/lib:
libobk.a -> /usr/tivoli/tsm/tdp_r3/ora64/libtdp_r364.a
The permissions are ok.
