Interesting question that will have to be answered by TSM engineering
officially.
Unofficially, I’ve successfully run VE against both 5.1 and 5.5 Linux vCenter
appliances for quite some time. We develop a product using VDDK against the
Windows vCenter and the appliance vCenters with no noticea
Hi guys!
In the TSM 5.x days I used the delete object command to remove individual
files from a TSM server. I used this in case I could not delete all data for a
client, for instance where a database was removed from a client without
deleting the data from TSM first. In this case tdposync won't

Good Morning,

full backups, as expected. Just wanted to make sure that changing this

I'll share the results...if I remember. :-)

- 8 nodes, 1 of them TDP for Oracle, total amount of data ~2 TB.
Absolutely no problem. I was also using SUSPEND EXPORT and RESTART EXPORT,
everything worked as it should.

Hi all,
Last one for today I promise.
Here :

Hi all,
I know it isn't supported but I would like to know if anybody here has used
server to server communication and exported 5.5 data to a 7.1 TSM server
via het network.
I will have a media export/import plan b at the ready but it would be great
if anybody has tried this before and can share t
