I believe GPFS is recommended over SANergy from IBM for this type of thing
nowadays. At least that's what they were pushing at the last symposium

It is a cop-out. Whilst not a direct fix for your issue, I'd look at
using CAD. It works very well for me.

The SANErgy MDC would be an AIX 6.1 (the TSM server), another AIX 6.1
