I'm trying to track down an issue w/ the IBM/Ontrack/Netapp tool SMBR. It
includes an extraction wizard that purports to extract backups from TSM, store
them on a NAS, then allow restore of mailboxes, individual mail items, blah
blah. My question is: does this require the TSM client to be on the
I'm trying to AdminCenter/TIP up under 6.2. I've got all the central TSM sorts
defined, but when I try to create a user, it fails to take. I've used my own
id and tipadmin, but the pw for the new user fails. I've tried to update by

There is no more TSM ODBC driver after 5.5 b
There is no more TSM ODBC driver after 5.5 because starting with TSM 6.1,
you can use DB2's native ODBC driver to interrogate the TSM server tables.
However, the DB2 ODBC driver will not be compatible with the "legacy" TSM
server SELECT interface, since it would access the DB2 tables.

Finally found in 5.5.2 directory. Had to switch from firefox back to i.e. in
order to see maintenance and all subdirs.
