Yes, of course. It does not matter where TSM Server is. In our environment we
have TSM Server under AIX 5.3.

Is it possible to use TBMR to backup Windows servers into "TSM for AIX"?
We were using TBMR 5.3.2 successfully for quite long time.
We have upgraded to TBMR 6.1.1 recently.
TBMR is not working with TSM Client 6.1. New release for TSM Client 6.1 is
expected soon.

Thanks so much
TBMR supports disaster recovery for Windows servers (XP/2000/2003/2008) by:
1) install TSM Client and configure backups with VSS;
2) install TBMR and create initial TBMR configuration (C:\TBMRCFG directory);
3) run initial full backup for Windows server;
4) daily incremental backup for server (SYST
Thanks for your posts,
If TBMR (Cristie+TSM) supports image backup/restore, that would be our ideal
choice. Does it?

TSM FastBack is the good solution but it's not fully integrated with
TSM. Means that you cannot backup the data from FastBack and send it
directly to TSM server like Cristies. TSM FastBack support only
backup/restore to disk.

Hello Mehdi,
We are using TBMR 6.1.1 with WinPE under TSM Client 5.5.1 and TSM Server
5.5.1.1.
Do not mix with CBMR, because it is a little bit different.
It is very good and license cost is less than $1000.
See www.cristie.com for details.
