I have multiple San volumes that get backed up by TSM. We are running 5.2.3 client and 5.3.4 on Server. The problem is with one large volume ( Over 5 million Objects) , seems to send the Cluster (Novell) Server into safe mode. It offlines the rest of the San volumes ( Which run fine during backups)
