We tried the full path and all kinds of method yet it doesn't work .
This command works on another server , so tried on this.
Any backup systemstate commands worked manually but not being on

Ashok,
For our remote sites where we have a small library and do not vault everyday,
we backup the database to disk. You have to be a little careful here because
with your 161 DB database you would need a lot of diskspace to keep the db
backup for a number of days.
The device class has to be fil

I'm assuming here that you mean to use the DS4300 for the cachepool, not
an actual online storage pool? If so, just follow the regular san/tsm
type guidelines. Split the space over multiple lun's, preferably in a
jbod or raid-0 array. If you feel you need the redundancy of raid-5,
assign a lot of
The other factor to consider is that you should have the delay period for
volume reuse on your tape storage pools set equal to the length of time you
keep your database backups. Depending on how often you perform reclamation
of those pools, these could add up too!

If you somehow had a TSM data base crash, or corruption in the TSM data

If you think you would never use that 30 day old TSM DB backup, you
don't need to keep it.

I want my backup jobs to store data at the DS 4300 Storage device and then
migrate the data to tape, to reduce backup window. Is there any TSM

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Restore your tsm database to the new server.

Have you tried a q vol * access=unavailable If the volume shows up,
then do a update vol* acc=readw whereacc=unav.

That message would indicate that the physical hardware does not

So, can someone explain the difference at the TSM level and aggregate
