I've just installed this on a test machine and the Online Information
does not work - I can display the Readmes but when I try to display the
User Guide I get "The page cannot be displayed".
I've no problem with that using the Windows 5.3.3 client.

It seems that when I finish using the Backup-Archive GUI via Internet

Richard,
Try using braces {} around the filespace part of the file name when
accessing API filespaces from the BA client. I don't have an oracle TDP

have also used it extensively when working with ADSMPIPE - created

Also from the AIX Platform:
#lscfg -vpl smcX
#lscfg -vpl rmtX
To get firmware versions of library and tape drives.
Howvere, if AIX has not been rebooted since firmware was updated,
the old versions will show with these commands.
To get updated versions, delete device at AIX level and run cfgmgr

I have never tried the expire command from the TSM server so I do not know

We just started using TDP for Oracle, and my interpretation of
the documentation I've read is that RMAN is in control of the whole
process and you shouldn't try to delete/expire the files out from under
it.

Hi,
I'm having some trouble trying to delete a few RMAN recovery catalogue

if you want to remove it, you have to stop and restart the server after

Are you trying to back-up a file share? Did you delete and re-install
the ITSM service on this client? Maybe the network account which was
used to backup this share isn't configured on the ITSM service anymore?

Further, what did you upgrade from, and what account is attempting
the backup (given that the RC 5 is an Access issue, which speaks to
privilege levels)?

We tested it out in our environment, and did not find the same
problem--all tapes were scanned appropriately.
I guess our barcode scanner is right-side-up.
