It has been observed that cold backup of database server is taking more time
from past 1 months.
In spite of the fact that we are having 2Gbps data transfer speed, no
simultaneous process is running on TSM backup server and no other database
backup is scheduled with the running backup

is the culprit. This message should be informational, not error, and that
has been fixed in the latest 5.2.3 interim fix level or 5.3.0.0. However,
the backup will still get return code 8 if ANS1809W (a warning-level

Yes, Occupancy reflects all versions of stored files, Active and
Inactive.

Just what I wanted to here.
I was planning on deleting just to be safe before the backup.
Our system object files have grown to such large numbers that we wanted to do
something about it to help with the DB growth.
