demonstrate, since I don't have a server handy (will try with 2003 server

Couldn't a dsmc command be inserted into Logon scripts? Instead of controlling
via a schedule?

You can't "force" the backup as you describe, but you can come close
define a schedule for laptop users that spans a 24-hour window and have
the scheduler service running at bootup. Use SCHEDMODE POLLING. The

the details behind the closure, but it was closed that way presumably due
to the complexity (despite the seemingly simple problem description) of

(error in process lsass.exe followed by an automatic reboot) were caused by
