Aside from not doing too many clients at a time (your expiration process
will tell you when it's time to do more nodes) beware that deleted files
stored in TSM will not be rebound to the new management class.

Once you update the client to see the new policy the next time the client is
contacted for backup the other 80days of backup files for that client will
expire. Only thing to watch out for is have many clients going through this
expire process at the same time your log can fill...

I think Richard may have a point regarding IC32186 and technote 1194088
(which mentions APAR IC32498). IC32186 could very well have been the
problem... it was fixed in the 4.2.2 and 5.1.1 clients. You can try
renaming the empty file spaces by their fsid.
