Why not just use the MOVE MEDIA command? Or you could shell out a couple

Hi, I am afraid this is wrong.
I do not now any way how to store/restore security information only apart
from using special tools.
The one I used to use can be found on www.lanicu.com and could help you,
if it is worth for you to invest couple of hours (download, read manual,
install, test, use).
Arent getting any errors, other than from shutting the box off !

You're opening a big can of worms doing it with only 1 drive. That and you

Yes - we've been using it to migrate from LTO1 -> LTO2. No problems encountered. We
replaced all LTO1 drives with LTO2 in one go (with TSM 5.1.6.3 at that time).

This is a known problem.
Go to:

You will see a KB article about how to resolve this.
In a nutshell, you need to uninstall Data Protection for SQL and
re-install it. If that doesn't resolve it, you may need to uninstall
the base client and re-install

Hi Chris!
I don't know I'm correct. But does'nt all Windows security stays in System State?
That mean NTFS permissions, User accounts, Groups, Domain settings and et c.
You maybe need to comfrm that with a Windows guy. But if it true. Just restore the

We did a full database backup to disk and could remove the volhist for

Change schedmode to prompted on the client and restart the scheduler.
With schedmode polling the start of schedule is dependent on the randomization setting

Hi All
I want to know whether there is a way to restore "only" ntfs file

The reason for this is that last night during some maintenance, a windows

When you say you are trying to define a path to /dev/smc0 you are trying to
