I don't know why, but I had the same output in several versions of TSM. You just have
to wait till the audit compleets, wich can be a long time.

the reason for our "flipped bit" problem is a tape-drive-unit (9940A from
STK).
i think it change bits before it write the stream to the tape, and this
after the crc-tests.
so we get no i/o error messages from the device. we taking the divce offline
and find no more new failures.
