We've got a pretty plain vanilla TSM 5.1 setup with a 3584 tape library.
No additional features purchased or in use (SAN, TDP, NMDP, etc).

WinNT 5.1 clients will work on a schedule if, IF, you first deinstall the
previous client, reboot the box, install the 5.1 client, and reboot the box.
That is the only way we have found to guarantee against 3 AM server crashes.
Be aware that expiration still doesn't work right in 5.1.1.4. If you
