You can try it, but I'd be surprised if it works. Get a good db backup,
upgrade to 64 bit and restore the db.

Are you using NWPWFILE YES or are you manually setting the password using
NWUSER?
Can you run the following three queries from the command line without being
prompted for a password?
Query Session (queries tsm server)
Query TSA (Queries TSA for backup of files and directories)
Query TS
Although the clients can be downloaded for free, you are required to buy a
license for each client that is backed up. IBM and Tivoli have never done a
good job of making this clear. Some software providers either do not know this
or choose to ignore it when making proposals.

I am currently running TSM 4.1.2 on a Solaris 2.6 (32Bit), i want to move it to
Solaris 8, and 64Bit,
I have a 70Giga DB on two 36G disks,
Whats should i do to migrate to the 64Bit ? just install it over the one i have ?

Mike,
You can download many different clients from the TSM site for free but must have
a legal client license for each client that you back up. I think the client
license is the same for each client.
