Any idea why I might be getting the following message when trying to back
up a volume on a Netware 5 client?:
09/12/2000 22:00:48 Incremental backup of volume 'E011CNCROOKS\NSS_ADMIN:'
09/12/2000 22:00:48 ANS1076E *** Directory path not found ***
NSS_ADMIN displays as a volume for server E011CNC
Can you give me some more specifics, as in what "opsys limits" and where
they are ?
This is a RED HAT 6.2 LINUX server.

I am having trouble with reboots of AIX and Sun Solaris boxes that
have 3494 libraries attached. If a tape is mounted at the time the system
is rebooted or crashes, when adsm comes back up, the drive is inaccessible.

It is in fact possible to define a primary tape storage pool to specify a
different storage pool as the destination for reclamation. This feature was
intended primarily to allow for reclamation with only one tape drive, but it
can also be used t

Tom,
I would do this;
set the diskpool to go directly to tape2 (upd stg disk1 nextpool=tape2).
Set the reclaimstgpool on tape1; this is a feature that was added
in version 3. It directs reclaim output to another pool
(upd stg tape1 reclaimstgpool=tape2).
There is no nextpool parameter for co

I am soon to be migrating from 3490 tape technology to 3590E tape

Say I have the following storage pools:
DISK1 (Disk storage pool - next storage pool = TAPE1)
TAPE1 (3490 sequential access pool)
TAPE2 (3590 sequential access pool)

Nope. It's the same.

Hello all,
Does anyone know if TSM V4.1 is available for OS/390

I should further qualify my posting about exploiting the 'spray' command
in performing network performance tests to say that it is possible to use
it where the destination system does not have a sprayd daemon running,
by using the -i option to instead send ICMP echo packets (as ping does).

Hi *sm'rs
I would like to have an offsite copypool, that is updated on, say a daily
basis :
The tapes that needs to be checked out of the library and updated with
access=offsite are the tapes that were just written to during the last
"backup stg", and the latest db-backup (I guess?). Furthermore I
