Dear all,
A lot of configure scripts fail on "ls -di" where the easy solution often is to
just edit it to "ls -d" but is there a reason the "-i" flag is not added to the
list of flags that are ignored in /rc/bin/ape/ls ?
Best regards,
Jens

hi Jens,
from the 'man ls' on mingw:
-i, --inodeprint the index number of each file
--
/c
Ps:
An inode is a unique number assigned to files and directories while it is
created.
The inode number will be unique to the entire filesystem.

That's sad news indeed. I haven't seen him in ten years, but always
enjoyed his wry humor. He always made me feel welcome on the community.

Sad news. Thank you for letting us know. I never had the pleasure of
meeting him in person, but I had a lot of respect for his knowledge
and programming.

Condolences to his family! We exchanged emails (just checking on each
other in these strange times) just a week prior. Must've been very

So sorry to learn this. My favorite memory of jmk, though I never knew him
personally, was from 2003, when I was still learning how to engineer and hack
operating system kernels. He and I exchanged emails regarding the best way to
audit a kernel’s networking stack, as I had found some bugs in th
