I'd like to announce ninefs for win32. This is a Dokan
based 9p filesystem driver for win32 systems built with
npfs. This is an early release intended for the bolder
user. I've set up a mailing list for the project so
please direct feedback there.

Hi,
I have a few old DAT tapes and two DAT drives, I planned
to dub the tapes to CDs/DVDs, but I don't seem to be able
to read them.
tar tvf /dev/sd00/raw
doesn't work though I didn't really expect it to (block sizes etc),
however even
echo read bigfile | scuzz /dev/sd00
didn
cool. this is potentially a big deal if it works ok...

my 2¢:
i don't see that 9p for windows as being off topic.
i'd rather not have to follow a few dozen lists to keep
up with plan 9.

'dokan /i a' fails to install the (kernel mode) driver but succeeds in
installing the mounter service. There's a build of Dokan for Vista x64 but
none for XP x64.
