As with each new release of MacFUSE, we've got to update a few things
to get 9pfuse working again. The following patch (hg export) has the
changes to fuse_kernel.h that are required to get it working again.
Unfortunately, the change is not backwardly compatible--and completely
untested on
If somebody wants to put together a test I can run it.
Test is simple: set up 10K ioprocs on plan 9 and have 10K machines
beat at it with http GET requests. Each ioproc is processing the GETs,
but they are communicating via channels to an http server. This is
roughly a model of what stuff like lib
after installing from a CD image i just downloaded yesterday, i get
the following panic when booting for the first time:

record, I realized that at least one of those number registers that gets set
in the footnote macro is important; namely, the one that says you're in a
footnote. In tmac.srefs, the macros that print the references use .IP, whi

I run 9vx on Ubuntu too (8.04, i386).
I've noticed that 9vx crashes sometimes when 8l is running.
Same when abaco is running.
And it is crashed always by nupas/fs.
I'll try to give more information later.
