It’s not just gmail. My use of Mailscanner marks most of 9fans as spam now.
The default settings are more restrictive about what is sent through mail
protocols. The shift to github hooks and html emails with javascript trips
the spam tools and sweeps 9fans directly into the junk bit bucket.

I'm not sure if this is related to your problem, but your messages to 9fans
are getting marked as spam by gmail. It complains that your address is
failing verification for being from Yahoo.com.
