I'm using libvnc.so to share the main display. It's installed under
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions
but somehow (probably my doing) there's a symbolic link to it in
/usr/lib/xorg/modules
which is what /var/log/Xorg.0.log reports as being used.
With f7/radeon I get these messages in syslog, before the system hangs, i.e.
the next message is the restart message. Not sure if they were there with fc6
or are a cause or result of the problem:
kernel: [drm:radeon_cp_idle] *ERROR* radeon_cp_idle called without lock held
kernel: [drm:radeon_cp_reset] *ERROR* radeon_cp_reset called without lock held
kernel: [drm:radeon_cp_start] *ERROR* radeon_cp_start called without lock held
