Is it possible to call vncviewer.exe with password option ???

The best way is to save a running vmware session to a file
.vnc. While saving, you are asked to save the password to this
file or not. The file is kind of scrabled in the (further ascii
readable) file. Once you want to connect from the commandline, use the
-config option: `vncviewer -config .vnc` and off you go.

renew a vnc license without having access to the pc that is running vnc ?

2007-11-12 Thread Marilyn Fitzgerald
Does anyone know if it is possible to renew a vnc license without having
access to the pc that is running vnc (eg. purchase it at realvnc.com, and
then when you next try to connect to the pc running an expired vnc server it
will work).

RealVNC - UltraVNC conflicts?

2007-11-12 Thread Derek McDaniel
Hello everyone,

We have a machine where we found that RealVNC and UltraVNC were both
installed on it. We noticed that whenever we tried to VNC into this machine,
it would crash. I was wondering if anyone knew of an issue with UltraVNC and
RealVNC having problems communicating between each other or if they are not
compatible to run on the same machine. I have removed UltraVNC from the
machine for the time being seeing as we do not need to do file sharing. Any
information would be great!

Thanks,

Derek McDaniel
