[vdr] VDR can't tune on 3.5 kernel
Hello I know it isn't probably supported but it doesn't hurt to ask. I use the newest kernel 3.5 with some experimental driver for pctv452e. Using szap I can tune channels, I can save them using cat, I can analyze them using ffmpeg. Hovewer I can't use VDR because it says like below: Jul 11 07:51:26 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 28, tp 211158 Jul 11 07:51:52 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 53, tp 211200 Jul 11 07:52:17 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 3, tp 211278 Jul 11 07:52:44 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 1, tp 211393 Jul 11 07:53:09 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 23, tp 211508 Jul 11 07:53:36 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 52, tp 211585 Jul 11 07:54:01 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 14, tp 212265 Jul 11 07:55:10 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 7, tp 111258 Jul 11 07:55:35 wuwek vdr: [5396] Streamdev: Accepted new client (VTP) 127.0.0.1:38551 Jul 11 07:55:35 wuwek vdr: [5396] ERROR: streamdev: protocol violation (VTP) from 127.0.0.1:38551 Jul 11 07:55:35 wuwek vdr: [5396] streamdev-server: closing VTP connection to 127.0.0.1:38551 Jul 11 07:55:36 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 11, tp 111449 Jul 11 07:56:23 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 49, tp 210719 Jul 11 07:56:49 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 4, tp 210796 Jul 11 07:57:15 wuwek vdr: [5392] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 16, tp 210834 Is there something incompatible between VDR and the newest kernel? I use VDR version 1.7.28 from Debian package. Marx ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

@Zaverel, What do you mean by "It's not perfect but that work" ? @Jose Alberto, What's the problem with the channel "TVE-HD Pruebas". Could you please tell us about your hardware ? Are you using spdif output ? Thanks for your support which help us to understand the subject. It is noticed by bad audio and lost audio parts. I have only one channel with eac3, and it only has two channels. I connect the computer with a hdmi cable to a tv. I am not using spdif.
